Dr. Chukkapalli Venkat Rao, known as Dr. Cvrao, serves as the Founder and Chairman of Kapila Maharshi Research for Resources (KMRR) since its establishment in 1998. KMRR has emerged as a prominent Yoga Institute in South India, committed to the pursuit of Holistic Well-Being.
Dr. C. V. Rao holds a Diploma in Yoga & Naturopathy from Nasik University and has authored several books and articles centered on Self-Health Management, including titles like “Yoga Mantra,” “Yoga 4 You,” “Dehamu-Yogamu,” and “Swadharma Yogam” – a comprehensive self-help guide. Additionally, he has contributed to the creation of the “Organ’ic Yoga Manual” alongside Sr. J. Sanjeeva Rao.
Currently, Dr. C. V. Rao and his team are actively engaged in the development of a pioneering concept called “APOORVA YOGA,” which integrates Asana, Apoorva pranayama, and the Therapeutic Power of Music.
Dr. C. V. Rao’s contributions to the field of Yoga have been widely recognized. He was honored with the title of “SWADHARMA YOGI” at the National Yoga Conference in 2002. In 2005, the Madras Telugu Academy bestowed upon him the prestigious “Samaikya Bharath Gaurav Satkar” in recognition of his outstanding work.

Mr. Reddy, an accomplished Electronics Engineer, has played a pivotal role in shaping India’s Bio-Pharmaceutical landscape and is widely acknowledged as a key driver of the Biotech Revolution in the country. His visionary journey has significantly impacted the Healthcare Sector, making cutting-edge products accessible to the masses through indigenous initiatives.
Having served both Central and State governments, Mr. Reddy founded Shantha Biotechnics Ltd. In 1993, a renowned company celebrated for its pivotal role in the development and production of India’s first indigenous r-DNA Hepatitis-B vaccine. The launch of this groundbreaking vaccine in 1997 marked a momentous achievement in India’s healthcare sector. Subsequently, Shantha Biotechnics continued to introduce a range of high-quality vaccines and pharmaceuticals meeting international standards, all offered at affordable prices.
Mr. Reddy’s contributions have not gone unnoticed. He was conferred with India’s third-highest civilian honour, the Padma Bhushan, in 2005, and he has received numerous National and International accolades for both himself and his company. In 2009, Shantha Biotechnics attracted Global recognition when Sanofi-Pasteur, a leading name in the vaccines industry, acquired a majority stake in the company, acknowledging its exceptional contributions to the field.
Beyond his scientific and social endeavours, Mr. Reddy’s philanthropic efforts extend to Art, Culture, and Heritage, underscoring his commitment to multifaceted societal development.

With over four decades of professional experience, Dr. Ch. Vasanth Kumar, MD, stands as a distinguished figure in the field of Internal Medicine and the broader healthcare domain.
Dr. Vasanth Kumar’s unwavering commitment to Geriatric Care is evident in his role as Director at Heritage Medical Centre, an institution renowned for its specialization in Elderly Care. His dedication extends beyond clinical practice, as he actively engages in health awareness initiatives for the public and contributes significantly to Continuing Medical Education (CME) programs, benefiting fellow medical practitioners.
Recognized for his profound expertise, Dr. Vasanth Kumar has been a featured speaker and guest orator at esteemed national conferences organized by the Research Society for the Study of Diabetes in India (RSSDI) and the Association of Physicians of India (API). Notably, he has earned the esteemed Fellowship of RSSDI.
Dr. Vasanth Kumar’s impact on healthcare extends to the community as well. He is the visionary founder of DAY (Diabetes And You) Society, a commendable initiative aimed at providing support to children with Type-1 Diabetes. Furthermore, he holds the distinguished position of Vice-President at the National Research Society for the Study of Diabetes in India, New Delhi, reflecting his significant contributions to the field.

The remarkable entrepreneurial journey of this individual serves as a compelling testament to the strength of resilience, unwavering determination, and an unwavering commitment to excellence, rendering them an inspirational figure in both the realms of business and philanthropy.
Despite facing a life-altering railway accident at the tender age of 15, which tragically resulted in the permanent loss of both legs and one hand, this indomitable spirit has surmounted numerous challenges to achieve excellence across diverse fields.
In 1984, B. Srinivas secured the HP gas distributorship from the Government of Andhra Pradesh in Jubilee Hills. Through relentless hard work, he transformed this opportunity into BS Enterprises, an ISO 9002 certified enterprise, consistently achieving the highest turnover in commercial LPG sales.
In recognition of his outstanding contributions, he was honoured with the National Award by the President of India, Dr. Shankar Dayal Sharma, during the period of 1993-94. Additionally, he was acknowledged with the prestigious Best Entrepreneur Award for a differently abled individual by Chief Minister Dr. N. T. Rama Rao in 1988.

She stands as the Founder and esteemed Member of notable organizations, including the Diabetes Research Society, Andhra Pradesh, Diabetes Federation, and Diabetic Self-Care Foundation, Andhra Pradesh.
Dr. Usha Bala’s professional journey includes a significant role as a Research Associate in Endocrinology and Metabolism at AIIMS, New Delhi. Her valuable contributions are evident through a series of published papers covering a wide spectrum of topics related to Diabetes. These publications delve into areas such as Diabetes prevalence in rural South India, the impact of under-nutrition in tropical Diabetes, the genetics of Diabetes mellitus in Indian populations, Diabetes-related mortality, and Diabetic education and compliance among Asian Indians.
Moreover, Dr. Usha Bala has conducted extensive research on the relationship between food, diet, and Diabetes, offering valuable insights and guidance through the platform www.diabetesindia.com. Her expertise extends to the provision of critical Diabetes education programs in the twin cities, hosting monthly educational meetings every fourth Sunday, offering free health checkups for senior citizens, and actively participating in programs across radio, television, and various media outlets.
